MISS in the Sacred Valley 2006

The MISS in the Sacred Valley course was held in Cusco, Peru, June 15-18, 2006. The faculty, participants and families gathered from around the United States and Latin America. The course began on Thursday evening after a fabulous dinner and show. Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning a course breakfast was held which included lectures and discussion. On Friday and Saturday evenings lectures were once again conducted after spending the day seeing the world renowned ancient wonders of the Sacred Valley including Machu Picchu. A farewell gathering on Sunday night at the Museum of PreColumbian Art concluded the course. This trip was a great experience for the participants and faculty as well as their families. Everyone marveled at the beauty of Peru and all the history it has. Besides the rich history, Peru is alive with vibrant colors and people which made the entire trip worthwhile and lively. MISS in the Sacred Valley is one MISU course we will never forget! Thank you to all who participated in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
