MISU 1999
The
Minimally Invasive Spine Update 1999 aboard the
Disney Magic November
5-8, 1999 was a complete success! The course "set sail" from Cape Canaveral,
Florida on Friday November 5 and arrived on Saturday in Nassau, The Bahamas.
On Sunday the ship arrived at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay
and returned to port on Monday morning. However, this was an educational
cruise and the following lectures and workshops were presented:

The highlights were the close interactions with faculty and
participants in the hands-on sessions. Also noted was the exchange of ideas
and techniques among specialties. The camaraderie and comfortable
interactions serve as the nidus for continued educational pursuit. We
believe that because of these special educational experiences the annual
MISU course will continue to improve the care and understanding of pain.
